A Look At The Players
Black Hearted GM
Spencer Borup
Spencer is a total geek. When he isn’t playing Pathfinder or recording episodes for the podcast, he can be found in his room watching random YouTube videos, playing games on his computer, or watching one of the movies from his rather extensive collection. Spencer works for a granite counter top fabrication company called Valley View Granite. Spencer is currently single but loves to hang out with friends and go on dates with interesting gals.

Tyler Manning
Not knowing what he was getting into when he married the only Borup girl, Tyler is the only water member of the podcast. But that does not stop the rest of the group from treating him like blood and harassing him any chance they get. Tyler is an avid X-Box player, owning more consoles than he knows what to do with, and a dedicated Linkin Park fan boy. Tyler enjoys spending his time outside of the podcast playing video games, training his puppy Roxie, and giving Spencer ideas for the show. Tyler came into the show a little late but has since shown that he is a man of many accents, and has the capability to be an incredible player in this game so many people love so much.
The Lore Master
Philip Borup
Philip is the eldest of the three brothers and takes responsibility for spreading all things geek to his family. It’s a trail he blazed over the course of many years until he finally wore them down and dragged them into the world of fantasy where he battles dragons, dances with the Fey, and has the occasional game of bridge with a coven of witches a celestial, a daemon, and Herb from maintenance. And now we all play Pathfinder together! When he’s not playing the adorably unnerving cross-dressing halfling time witch Min, Philip works as a Para-professional at the Early Learning Center, where he hopes to teach when he gets his degree. He also enjoys writing, acting, and singing for no audience WHATSOEVER. Philip loves all things Pathfinder and has gone on record saying he would sell his soul to Paizo if they’d allow him to write for them. In fact he and Zacarias have worked for years to adapt some of their past campaigns into books they hope to get published one day. Did you hear that masters? Your faithful servant is almost ready.
Sound Board Guy
Zachary (The Tiny) Borup
Zach is the youngest of the Borup clan and in his opinion is the most awesome. He is a recent graduate from Bear River High School and is working in a deli while he plans his future. He is a huge nerd and gamer, spending most of his free time either watching movies or playing video games, aside from being totally awesome. This is his second Pathfinder campaign and he is still quite a bit green at everything. He is super excited to play with his family and couldn’t be more happy that our mom decided to join, and to all of our adoring fans of all ages, we’re glad you decided to gather with us.
The Mother
Tracy Borup
Tracy, the mom, was first sucked into this land of RPG by pure laziness. She decided to have Philip drive to their joint place of work. (Shout out to the Early Learning Center) The rule of the car is he who drives picks the music. Philip picked a role playing game podcast! The horror and the boredom! She pretended not to listen for a while and read or put in her earbuds, but she was slowly being claimed by the forces of the RPG podcast. (Another shout out, this one for The Glass Cannon Podcast!) She began to ask questions. She begrudgingly began to listen and before she knew it, she was caring about these weird and strange characters in Golarian! Lorc the Orc who deserted his group. The tragic loss of the mind of Gelabrious! The sad demise of Ben Vereen the Wolverine! She was hooked! Oh no! The self disgust! The guilt! The stigma of being labeled a disgrace to her gender! No one must find out! Ever!
But 6 months later she came up from the dark and dreary basement of shame and decided to let anyone and everyone know she was indeed a geek, a dork and a nerd and she liked Pathfinder! So much so that she wanted to play with her sons. Not just play but join the podcast Spencer was starting up. So she began her quest and became the alter ego; Artrilla the Gnome. She is here to prove that role playing games are for everyone and you are never too old to learn something new. So download our newest episode and escape to Ustalav. Where a ragtag group of misfits seeks to avenge a death and save a town.
